Our Community
Temple remains a city with a vision. With a mixture of talents and interest, Temple truly mixes the cosmopolitan outlook on the good life with rich, down to earth country style to create a lifestyle which promotes personal, professional and spiritual growth. The Texas legislature has designated Temple as the Wildflower Capitol of Texas with the Bluebonnet being our state flower. Today, families are attracted to the low cost of living, a large medical community, strong public and private educational facilities, and community organizations. With an assortment of museums, golf courses and parks, Temple is rich in civic and recreational amenities. Four major hospitals and clinics and many diversified industrial businesses give Temple a stable economic base and a large professional community.
